Company and compliance

Group structure, branches and who we supply.

5 questions
How is Adaptog organised?

Adaptog Pharmaceuticals PLC is the parent company and main website. Its branches are Adaptog Research & Life Sciences, Vetigen Research and Adaptog Pharmacy, a registered online pharmacy and doctor service. Product verification across the group is powered by NFC Technology. Adaptog Research & Life Sciences works across research reference materials, analytical testing, formulation, freeze-drying and manufacturing, with locations in the UK, the Netherlands and India.

What capabilities does Adaptog Research & Life Sciences cover?

Laboratory research, analytical testing, clinical testing, formulation and product development, freeze-drying, raw material and API supply, manufacturing and warehousing. Work can be commissioned as a single service or across several stages of a project.

What do NFC Technology and Vetigen Research do?

NFC Technology is the cutting-edge verification software that powers our product verification, using secure NFC tags so a unit can be checked against the record held for that batch. Vetigen Research is our veterinary research branch, supporting veterinary and animal-health research programmes.

Is anything supplied for human or animal use?

No. Materials are supplied strictly for scientific laboratory research and analytical purposes. They are not medicines, foods, cosmetics or veterinary products, and are not intended for human or animal consumption, treatment or diagnosis. We do not provide dosage, administration or usage guidance for any material.

Who can open a professional account?

Purchasers must be at least 18 years old and must accept the research-use conditions in our terms of sale. Laboratories, academic groups, contract research organisations, manufacturers and veterinary research teams can apply.

Pharmaceutical services

Scopes, specifications and combining services.

4 questions
How do I request a quote?

Complete the quote form with the material or product, the work required, approximate quantities and any timing constraints. We confirm feasibility, documentation, lead times and price in writing before anything starts.

Can services be combined?

Yes. Testing, formulation, freeze-drying, manufacturing, warehousing and documentation can be commissioned individually or as one programme, which is usually cheaper and faster than moving a project between suppliers.

Can you work to our specification or protocol?

Yes. Send the specification, method or protocol you need to work to and we will confirm whether it fits our equipment and accreditations, or propose the closest method we can support and note where it differs.

Do you take projects from development through to supply?

We do. Projects commonly start at formulation or a feasibility batch and continue into stability work, documentation and repeat manufacture. Tell us the end point at the quotation stage so the early work supports it.

Quality and documentation

Methods, Certificates of Analysis and batch records.

5 questions
What batch documentation can I review?

Published Certificates of Analysis are held in the COA library and can be searched by batch code. Each report shows the laboratory, the analysis date and the reported results. If your batch is not listed, contact the team with the lot ID.

How is identity and purity verified?

Identity and purity are confirmed per lot using methods such as HPLC and LC-MS, carried out by independent laboratories. The method, the results and the laboratory are stated on the COA.

How do I match my item to the correct COA?

Find the lot or batch ID printed on the unit and compare it with the COA header or filename. If they do not match, contact support with the lot ID and we will send the correct document.

Is an SDS or TDS available?

Where one exists we provide a Safety Data Sheet and a Technical Data Sheet, covering hazards, storage, handling and technical characteristics. Both can be requested from support.

What are the storage and stability considerations?

Follow the label and the SDS for storage and handling. Avoid unnecessary temperature cycling, and follow your own facility procedures for receipt, aliquoting and record keeping.

Product verification

NFC tagging and what a scan does and does not prove.

4 questions
What is NFC product verification?

NFC Technology places a secure near-field tag on a unit, linked to the batch record held for it. A phone scan reads the tag and shows whether the unit matches that record, without exposing the batch data publicly.

How do I check a unit?

Hold an NFC-enabled phone against the tag and open the link it returns. The page confirms whether the tag is genuine and which batch it belongs to. No app is required.

What does a verification result prove?

It confirms that the tag is one we issued and that it is still linked to its original batch record. It does not by itself prove the contents of the container, which is what the batch COA and your own incoming checks are for.

Can verification be added to our own products?

Yes. Tagging, the reader page and the supporting records can be scoped for third-party products, including serialised units and tamper-evident sealing. Ask for a quote with your volumes and packaging format.

Veterinary research

Research and analytical work under Vetigen Research.

3 questions
What does Vetigen Research work on?

Vetigen Research supports veterinary and animal-health research: reference materials, analytical work, formulation and small-scale production for research programmes. It sits alongside the human research work but is run as its own branch.

Can veterinary practices or universities work with you?

Yes, where the work is research or analytical. Practices, veterinary schools and animal-health companies can open a professional account and request a quote in the same way as any other research customer.

Do you supply veterinary medicines?

No. Nothing supplied through Vetigen Research is a licensed veterinary medicine, and nothing is intended for the treatment of animals. Materials are for laboratory and research use only.

Orders, delivery and returns

Ordering, dispatch, packaging and returns.

5 questions
How do I place an order?

Orders are placed through our trade portal at adaptog.co.uk. Register or log in there to order. For services, custom requirements or anything that needs scoping, use the quote form on this site instead.

What are the delivery times?

UK orders are delivered in 1 to 3 working days, EU orders in 3 to 7 working days, and rest of world orders in 7 to 11 working days. Orders placed after 2 PM, at weekends or on public holidays are processed the next working day.

How are orders packaged?

Orders are dispatched in protective packaging suited to the format, with the documentation included. If anything arrives damaged or the paperwork does not match, contact support with the lot ID.

What is your returns policy?

Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery. Opened or used research materials cannot be accepted. Refunds are usually processed within 5 to 10 business days, and the full detail is in the returns policy.

What if a product does not match its documentation?

Tell us and we will put it right. If what arrives does not match the documentation we issued for that lot, we refund the purchase in full. Contact support with the lot ID first.

Still need an answer?

Send the question with your lot ID or project reference and we will come back within 1-2 business days.
