Why we spoke to
Men’s Health.

In October 2026, Men’s Health reported on a change in US policy on compounded peptides. Ryan Beattie, our Director of Business Development, contributed to the piece. This is why we took part, and what we stand for.

…those who are already using the gray market will continue to do so.

The story

Credible supply, in four parts

What the article was about, why we chose to be part of it, and what it means for how we work.

  1. 01

    The market we work in

Research materials reach laboratories through two very different channels. One is documented: materials are made to a specification, tested by independent laboratories and supplied with reports that name the batch. The other is a grey and black market, where products arrive with no verifiable origin, no batch records and no way to check what they contain.

  2. 02

    Why we took part

When Men’s Health looked at how the US policy might change the market, we wanted the companies doing things properly to be part of that conversation. Credible supply should be traceable, tested and clear about what it is for.

  3. 03

    What we said

Ryan’s point was that policy alone does not move people away from unregulated sources. Documented, accountable supply has to exist, and it has to be easy to check.

  4. 04

How it shapes the way we operate

Credibility comes from what can be checked, not from what is claimed. Every commitment below can be checked on this website.

Two channels

Documented supply, and the alternative

The difference Ryan described, in practical terms.

Documented supply

  • Made to a written specification
  • Tested by independent laboratories
  • Reports that name the batch
  • Batch code printed on every unit
  • Clear research-use terms, with no dosage guidance

Grey and black market

  • No verifiable origin
  • No batch records
  • No independent reports
  • No way to check what it contains
  • No clarity about what it is for
