Some materials have to stay cold from the shelf to the bench. Cold-chain storage and shipping keep them within range, with the lot record travelling alongside.

Storage

Held cold, recorded by lot

Temperature-sensitive materials are held in cold-chain storage, separate from ambient stock, and recorded by lot in our stock management.

Storage requirements are agreed for each material before it arrives, so it is put away correctly from the start.

  • Cold-chain storage
  • Lot-tracked stock records
  • Requirements agreed per material

Packing

Packed for the journey

Orders are packed for the temperature range the material needs, using insulated packaging suited to the destination and transit time.

Lot and batch identifiers stay on each unit, so what arrives can be matched to its documents.

Shipping

Cold-chain shipping, near or far

Cold-chain shipments are sent across the UK, the EU and the rest of the world. Each one travels with its lot documents and dispatch paperwork.

For international orders, our international logistics service handles the export paperwork as well.

Scope, equipment and accreditations for this service are to be confirmed before publication.
