VetiGen applies Adaptog laboratory, analytical and documentation standards to veterinary and animal-health research.
VetiGen is the Adaptog veterinary research branch. It supports veterinary and animal-health research, applying the same laboratory, analytical and documentation standards as the rest of Adaptog to veterinary work.
What VetiGen works on
VetiGen supports veterinary and animal-health research programmes with:
- Reference materials for veterinary research.
- Analytical work, including identity and purity testing.
- Formulation for research programmes.
- Small-scale production for research programmes.
VetiGen sits alongside the human research work at Adaptog Research & Life Sciences but is run as its own branch.
Who VetiGen works with
Veterinary practices, veterinary schools and animal-health companies can work with VetiGen where the work is research or analytical. They can open a professional account and request a quote in the same way as any other Adaptog research customer.
Research only: what VetiGen does not supply
Nothing supplied through VetiGen is a licensed veterinary medicine, and nothing is intended for the treatment of animals. Materials are for laboratory and research use only. Our article on research use only at Adaptog explains what that means in practice.
The same Adaptog standards
VetiGen work follows the same approach as the rest of Adaptog: agreed scope, documented procedures, batch records and published reports. Materials can be checked against their reports in the Adaptog COA library, and the guide to reading an Adaptog Certificate of Analysis applies to VetiGen materials too.
Part of Adaptog Pharmaceuticals PLC
VetiGen is one of three branches of Adaptog Pharmaceuticals PLC, alongside Adaptog Research & Life Sciences and Adaptog Pharmacy. Read What is Adaptog? for an overview of the group, or see biotechnology at Adaptog for the science across the group.
